Simply amazing. We did a lot of research before we decided to go with Riverworks and have not regretted it for a minute. Literally helped us from A to Z, they were even involved in choosing interior colors to match our logo and design theme. Incredibly thorough during our discovery process. We particularly like their unique ability to plan a web site from scratch and execute the vision with precision. We started with the RW team on a white board as their team pulled our thoughts and ideas together to create a working plan. Then they went to work! As one of the principals of The Kickoff, a college football newsletter that has been in business since 1951, we realized that our business model was unsustainable unless we developed a first class website to attract younger customers to buy our newsletter in a digital format. This would assist in solving a couple of our major problems. The Kickoff is available weekly during football season by first class mail, bulk mail, and by email with a PDF file. Our customer base is a combination of individual subscribers and corporate clients that send The Kickoff to their clients weekly by first class or bulk. Obviously the increases in postage and paper costs, labor plus delivery time by the post office was something we had no control over, and the costs had to be passed along to the customers. My background is in broadcasting, tv, and the agency side of the media business, and as I began my search for a marketing company to help us, it became apparent that my age (73) and my lack of knowledge about digital marketing was a red flag to these marketing youngsters, and I became fair game to them as their quotes were, shall I say, excessive, and they expressed no concern about deadlines or urgency. So I quickly moved on and scheduled a meeting with Riverworks and was blown away. They asked great questions, quickly understood our unique business model— and urgency. After receiving their quote and checking some references, which were all positive, we hired them, and they have been outstanding in turn around time, meeting deadlines, research and suggestions. I could not be happier. We have seen immediate growth in our PDF digital business. They are really helping us grow our business. And by the way, their rates are very reasonable and nothing like the youngsters I met with at first. They, I’m afraid, were trying to take advantage of a senior-age, traditional media guy.
