Marketing Account Manager

Riverworks Marketing is a team of good people helping businesses succeed! Headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, we design and build websites, manage digital advertising campaigns, design print advertising, perform market research, brand businesses, and have proven experience in logo design, search engine optimization (SEO), blogging, email newsletters, and much more! We are looking for a friendly, detail oriented, and creative individual to fill the role of Marketing Account Manager.

This position will execute projects and marketing strategies, manage accounts, and grow strong relationships with our customers. Effective project management and communications skills are necessary, along with internal motivation to see your customers and our agency succeed. We want someone who will bring positive energy, passion and enthusiasm to the position. Client responsiveness is essential and we value people who are driven, creative and equate their customer’s success with their own.

Job Duties:

  • Develop a working knowledge of the customer business and the key variables which produce success
  • Communicate with clients to effectively build, enhance and execute their marketing strategies
  • Create, assign and manage projects and tasks necessary to execute the marketing campaigns that make-up the strategy for each customer
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate digital and print marketing efforts in support of overall client goals
  • Ensure client satisfaction through the development of quality marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Lead the charge on executing high-quality and on-budget production of websites, newsletters, digital advertising, SEO, blogs, print ads, and all other forms of message deliver
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against goal
  • Advocate for your client’s interests, and ensure high-quality and detailed work comes out of our agency
  • Educate and inform clients as each phase of campaign execution is underway, gaining client approval throughout the process
  • Strategize with creative team on behalf of your account and your team members accounts to ensure fresh, relevant, and out-of-the-box marketing campaigns
  • Continually grow existing and new business for the agency

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a similar field– or extensive experience directly applicable to this position
  • 2-4 years of inside sales, customer service or project management experience
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and work well with other team members
  • Demonstrated ability to offer strategic marketing insight across interactive and digital media platforms
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage your time and establish priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
  • Comfortable operating in various CRM/ PMS softwares

Lead Web Developer

We’re looking for a full-time senior web developer to join our 13 team member marketing agency in Chattanooga, TN. Riverworks was established in 2006 and is one of Chattanooga’s first digital marketing agencies.  We have a fun, diverse and talented team with a casual atmosphere. We also have a project we would like to pursue as a SaaS that is operational but needs work to get ready for prime time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s efforts to leverage the latest technology and development processes to serve our customers and create competitive advantages
  • Write HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL (and use related libraries) to build custom solutions
  • Interpret Photoshop/Figma documents or other design files to develop web pages that satisfy the creative intent

  • Design of ads, brochures, posters, logos, icons, social media graphics, and other branded print/web material for 100+ clients using Adobe Programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.
  • Sending print material to press— knowledge of bleed, color, and paper types is essential.
  • Website design and working with developers and project managers to execute design.
  • Mid-level front-end development, such as adding/updating html, CSS, and WordPress and Joomla websites.
  • Designing marketing emails using platforms such as Constant Contact, SendinBlue, Mail Chimp, Zen Reach, and Chamaileon. Custom html email coding is a plus.
  • Retrieving print quotes and making orders with local and regional vendors.
  • Presenting fully-formed design/brand solutions to team or client.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Concrete Requirements for Position:

  • Must have an online portfolio that includes examples of the candidate’s ability to produce high-quality designs for websites, logos, web and print material.
  • Must have expert to mastery level skills in Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • BFA in Graphic Design or comparable level of work experience.
